William Simpson, RN, Case Manager

Mr. Simpson has worked as a Case Manager for over twenty-five years. His clinical and case management background includes many specialities particularly oncology, diabetic education, neurology, HIV, mental health and gerontology.

Mr. Simpson navigates and advocates you through the maze of the health care system and coordinates physician appointments, referrals to specialists including physical, occupational and speech therapy and coordinates all labs and specialized tests ordered by your physicians. He also meets with you and your physician and health care team personally and virtually. He is experienced in coordinating your care privately and at skilled and assisted living facilities advocating your needs and making sure all physician orders are being followed and that your wishes are clearly made known. His clients reside throughout the United States.

Mr. Simpson advocates for you when you are challenged by your health insurers to be sure that you are heard and that you receive all medical services you are entitled to. He also challenges policies that some times need to be reconsidered and reviewed.

Mr. Simpson is past President of the Board of The Independent Living Resource Center of San Francisco which is the largest non profit organization for disability rights, services, advocacy and policies in the City and County of San Francisco.

Mr. Simpson is affiliated with the LightHouse for the Blind of San Francisco where he has been an RN Consultant and RN for The Enchanted Hills Camp for the Blind in Napa, California for the past nineteen years.

Mr. Simpson has a three year credential in Spiritual Direction from the Mercy Center's International School of Spiritual Direction in Burlingame, Ca. and is currently on their staff for their Sacred Journey Program.
